Default Gas Guage!

Fueled up my car yesterday and noticed something about the gas guage. It appears that 1 "bar" next to the "E" is not lit up, but the "bar" next to "F" was lit, just after I filled it up! Is yours like that, or is my guage defective?
Thanks,
-Steve

Really!? In both of my cars (an '00 and '03) it isn't lit. Can anyone confirm that they have a car in which there is no blank area between the line and the first lit bar on their gas guage?

No one has CONFIRMED that it was lit.

I have never seen a pic of one lit.

My 03 is NOT lit

Those who claim theirs is lit, PICS PLEASE.

Mines lit.

j/k

I wouldn't worry to much about it tho. The majority of us don't have that bar lit so it's all good

I thought it was a defect the first week of ownership myself (used car). It's not because the last "bar" near F is basically the edge or border of the fuel gauge. It complements the bar next to E.

I have no proof to back that up, that statement was made on rumor, not fact.
