Gas Mileage
Well all right then, it doesn't seem like I'm doing all that badly. I guess that last tank of gas just made me wonder a little. If I run it dry, I'd be getting about 225-240 miles per tank I would estimate, and it doesn't like that's altogether abnormal. Thanks again guys for all the feedback!

i can concur with most of you, i fill up when i have about 2 bars left, they go fast, usually takes 9.5-10.5 gallons. usually gets 22-24 mpg, we have elevations here but my use is a 50/50 mix of highway and city with lots of traffic sometimes (SF bay area). depending on which was i take to work and back it can be 38-25miles round trip.
the worst tank i got was tracking the car and it was 20mpg, the best tank was recently a trip to monterey and back i got 28mpg, never saw that before. I vetc whenever possible for good mental health and use the revs freely, usually going 70-75 mph on the freeway.
i can go about 240 miles between fill ups, give or take. my car has 7500 miles on it and no...i repeat, no... oil use.....i check the oil and the trip odo whenever i fill up.

Ok just filled up today at 2 bars. Got about 10 gallons. I averaged 18 mpg gal. Doesnt winter gas and summer gas differ? Dont you get better gas milage in summer? Before this I was at 16 mpg. I also do a lot of 5 minute drives because my work is only a few miles away. Does that effect gas milage?
