i've never heard of 30 MPG on this car....do you guys not VTEC.....drive 55 MPH on the freeway?
Nah, it can be done doing 80mph on the Interstates. It helps if the wind is at your back (ie, heading easterly) and your're going somewhat downhill (ie, away from the continental divide.)

This all depends on how you drive the car.

I'm curious as what the worst MPG is for people that vtec all the time shifting at 9k would be?

I don't abuse my car all the time and drive normally with some spirited driving from time to time but I get 200 miles per tank and 240 in a good day. When I put gas it only takes up to 11 gallons which means I still have 2 gallons to go, why it tells me Im empty?

I once got 340 miles in a fill but that was a long trip to the Florida Keys and relaxed. It averaged 30.91 because it only took 11 gallons.

I think my car might have a little problem. Im going to look into the average again soon, if something is wrong I will take it to Honda for a check up. What could this be?

The mileage you're reporting seems perfectly normal. Why do you think there is an issue? Is it because the gas light comes on when you've only used 11 gallons? That light is to let you know you're running low on fuel and should get some more - it's not an "Empty" indicator. Cuz if it was, it'd come on only once you've stalled out on the side of the road, which would be pretty useless.

On the track (shifting at redline; accelerating until I brake, etc.), I get around 10mpg, while I average about 25 in normal driving and close to 30 on the highway.

My light comes on after only 10 gallons and stays on. I'm still trying to get used to this. On my old ES300, the light would be on but really weak when it had about 3 gallons left. Only at a gallon left would it come on strong and stay lit. I liked that better cuz it gave me a better estimate on when I really really need to get my butt to the gas station.

I get around 24-26mpg around city. 28 mpg hwy.
I don't know how you guys measure your gas mileage, but here's a decent way to do it IMO.

1. Fill her up, and set your trip odometer to zero.
2. The next time you're at the gas station for gas, make a note of your mileage since the last fill-up. Fill her up again and note the amount of gas pumped in.
3. Divide your mileage by the amount of gas pumped in step 2, thus giving you mpg.

Coworker gave me the idea for this... before that I was pretty much guesstimating it....
