Have not tried it before nor do i have the time to even try it. I pump Chev or 76 regardless. Thanks for giving me your inputs

i pump chevron or shell only regardless of what other people tell me and crap... their marketing has caught my eye and i've stuck with chevron/shell since i started driving.
btw, this is really silly but i've tried the early morning thing and it doesnt work. theres my input.
i think the following make a bigger impact:
-keep tire pressure within recommended range
-top up
-travel at the maximum fuel efficient speed (they say its around 55 mph but i get metter mpg going average of 70-75 not to mention its more practical)
-lighten your load (ie: get rid of unneccessary stuff in your trunk)
i DD my car and pay close attention to my gas milage. these are a few things that i do to try and make a difference and i've been getting around 24-25mpg consistently. i go as high as 26 (i know some people go up to 29 but i havent got there yet). so... yeah... saving gas is more than just going abra-cadabra at the gas pump.
if you wanna go mythbusters style then go tailgait a big rig and apparently that saves you gas if you're within 20 feet behind a big rig because theres not as much air hitting your car or something... i havent found this to be true but i do notice less windnoise when i do it.
