Default Gauge cluster trick

more than likely, most of you know this, but I just found out how to make the Gauge cluster light brighter while the headlights on!

I hated it during the sunset when you have your headlights on, but it's too bright to still actually see your gauge cluster.

Well, all I had to do was while the headlights on, press and hold the (+) sign on the digital cluster that we have for about 2 seconds, then it goes back to the same brightness as if the headlights weren't on. To go back, press (-) button for 2 seconds.

I had no idea... I'm sure some forum nutz gonna tell me this is a "repost" from some million thread ago.

uber brightness. lol that's the perfect decription.

actually, if you turn the light off, and on again, it goes back to the dim/headlight is on mode. just had to repress the button for 2 sec, bling- uber brightness.

Took me a few months to find this out, because on group drives we keep headlights on but I could never see the tach in the sun.

I just shifted when I hit the rev limiter
