uh, yeah, there's also a secret compartment between the seats. And the gas filler door thing is located near your left elbow

More specifically, once you've got your "nighttime" brightness set how you like it, once you've set it to full bright by holding the + button for two seconds, you can revert to its original setting by simply pressing the minus button once, with no need to hold it down. At least this is how my 2004 works.

Definitely useful on a very overcast day, or right around sunset.
