GAUGES!
it's just human nature..
ppl like us having electronic ones miss the gauges
ppl with gauges wish they had electronic ones
humans are damn fckin hard animals to be satisfied =)
like someone said above, this is what distinguishes the s2000.
I seriously can't fathom why u would go through the troubles to get a GAUGE on an s2k. Then after a few months, u want the electronic back.

I wouldn't mind someone coming up with a way to have the speedo climb at different rates based on thottle position. If WOT then just reel up through the numbers really fast counting up, when not WOT, revert to stock so you don't see the numbers flipping like crazy when you're cruising at an almost constant speed.

design wise it shouldn't be too hard (ie sampling rate as a function of throttle position and maybe even vehicle speed) call it variable speedometer sampling rate (VSSR) and market it along with VTEC
I hadnt really thought about this before. The s2k dash is unique and the light up arc with the red bars is cool design. Ive had my s2k going on 7 years and still delight in my ability to control pretty much everything in the car with BOTH hands on the steering wheel.
I think I would miss the digital dash now.
