Default Which gauges and why?

I'm about ready to install some additional gauges in my car (initially just oil pressure, oil temp). I'm wondering what gauges you guys recommend as far as:

- size
- style (white face, black face, other)
- full sweep/short sweep/ 3/4 sweep
- brand
- etc

Also, what is a reasonable price for gauges & senders? I just looked briefly online and saw oil pressure gauges ranging from about $40 up to $200+.

Personally, If I was going to do gauges, and it sounds like you are not running any FI, then you've picked the right ones and the ones I'd get as well. If you are FI, get Boost, Oil Temp, A/F (wideband).

I would go with Defi all the way. Big name brand gauges that look awesome. Defi link meter BF gauges, in metric probably, 60mm cause its easier to read, with Amber light to match the S2Ks dash.

In the end, a gauge is a gauge though. Don't break your bank to get the name brand. Autometer and Greddy will give you the same information if that is all you really care about in your setup.

Edit: 3/4 Sweep, Black Face.
