for the 04/05 ratio's the Reverend has 8000 RPM in the calculation - if you calculate 4th gear using 8200 RPM you get 102 MPH...

no problem other than my liberal use of smilies....

couple ofother posts mentioned disappointment(?) witht the 4->5 shift in order to reach 100 - I was simply noting that if you let 4th run to 8200 then 102 is the calculated mph...

I'm not understanding why it's a "landmark" to get to 100. 0-60 is a popular run but to 100?

Hey, that's way cool. With 8200 RPM, I can now get up to 42.3 MPH in reverse. That'll gt me home from work a few seconds earlier.
