Got high-beamed flashed once so far in two days of ownership and it was from a Suburban. Poetic justice was the thought that was running through my mind. I said hi right back with a friendly high beam flash of my own.

I checked out the hid pattern and the cutoff is definately not too high. I really like how wide the pattern is though - deer hiding in the ditch waiting to run out in front of me will be much easier to see.

I get high beamed a lot as well, especially if it's raining at night. One time someone high beamed me, I beamed them back. And then they beamed me again! WTF? There's certainly no shortage of a$$holes in this world.

Oh, and to oOweEe, I don't think you can adjust the headlights up or down on the S2000. Only left to right. To make the left/right adjustment, take a phillips screwdriver, go under the hood and look behind each headlight housing. You'll notice that there are cutouts in the fenders there. There is a special screw for adjustment there (you actually turn a gear with the tip of the screwdriver).

Actually it's the opposite , you can only adjust up or down not left to right unless you put washers in the headlight retaining bolts. I actually adjusted mine to shine higher and I don't get flashed at all.

Actually i once had an s2000 behind me at night. And let me tell you, the slightest bump in the road turned into me getting blinded by his HIDs. On a level road they present no problem. But unfortunetly level roads are very rare.

Yes, it's a problem. I just give them a quick flash back so they realize I dont have the high beams on.

My lights were way too high, I went back to the dealer, and this kid adjusted them. He had the lights on and a piece of cardboard 5 feet in front of the car. I think he actually raised them. I made an appointment to have them adjusted again, looked around on this site and did it myself. The rep and the mechanic had no idea how these lights are supposed to be adjusted.

That was one of my favorite things about owning a corvette, at the dealer I went to you would make an appointment with a Corvette mechanic, they had guys that had been working on vettes for 25 years.

This site was the most helpful. You need a really long screw driver. I think it says 12 inch, which I couldn't fine I bought a 16" at home depot which worked well.

honda dealership techs are only allowed to adjust the headlights to OEM spec due to some special law they have.
