Default Getting new sparkplus

Dynoing this weekend and will be getting new sparkplugs done at honda. My current ones havent been replaced since not sure when. Shes at 46-47k now and I've owned her since 25k. Maybe the previous owner did?

But putting new ones in should help power a lil?

I also should tell honda to tight to 18 tq right?

If the plugs that are currently installed are in good shape, you won't see an increase in power.

Why don't you inspect and replace them yourself?

I had my spark plugs changed at the dealer after only 20.000km's (planned service) this saturday and I do have to say I feel a difference in bite Or is it just in my mind!?

Is it normal btw that they change spark plugs after only 20.000km with lots of city driving!? I got the old ones back, so I will make some kind of nice thing with it, my first 9K sparks

In my service manual / maintenance guide it states : every 80.000 km (50.000 miles) for the sparkplugs.
So 20.000 km is a bit soon.
They are not cheap either!

@ SilverKnight:
A good spark gives good combustion.
It looks like you're at the milage to change according to service manual.

You're in Europe, right? You most likely have different requirements than those in N. America. Spark plugs are listed in our service manual as being changed at 168,000 KMs or 7 years. However, it's always wise to inspect them every year.

NEVER put spark plugs into an engine without checking their gap and condition. It doesn't matter if they come "pre-gapped". They may not be correct and they may have been damaged during shipping.

Yes, the S2000 comes with an extra service manual for Europe with special maintenance statements.

You can choose the 15.000km or 20.000km intervals and each of them when necessary with special 'hard driving' conditions extra service points.

These apply for example when you do lots of short cold engine drives in the city. So I am in the 15.000km intervals with the hard driving conditions, but even at that point I do not find 'changing the spark plugs' as part of it.

But since it was a free service, I do not complain They changed also the air filter (was beginning to get dirty) and the pollen filter which was full black
