i was on a forum the other night and one of the members said that he was going to sell his S2k for a different car b/cuz he said he keeps getting pulled over by the cops forcuz of the S2k he drives. Any1 else have any personal experiences with this or know of any1 with an S that does? Maybe this happens to most hooked up cars and my car is too sorry to be noticed?

 

I've owned my S over a year and I haven't been pulled over once. I cruise on the highway at 100 or so usually, so I'm not putting around.

 

i've been pulled over once, and that was the very night i got the car. it was mainly cuz i didn't see the "checkpoint" signs and didn't slow down until cops jumped in front my car. i was 30 min. from my destination, and had just driven 10 hours. so they take my ID, and i am unable to get into a college bar w/a ticket because too many people try to get in with those (change the dates for age).

my car used to be red,,,and painted it blue that stands out also it was heavily fixed up.....

never got pulled over during year and half of ownership...

Hah, I just got pulled over tonight in the ghetto of Oxnard, lol - motorcyle cop pulled me over and claimed I was going 74 MPH in a 35 clocked on laser (I was going no where near 45mph). After I asked him to see the laser gun it turned into 72 MPH on radar; I ask for the radar readings and he then claims he had both hands on his bikes handle bars and was not able to clock me at all - at which point I obviously asked where the BS number of 72mph came from, (traffic wouldn't have even permitted me to go that fast on this busy road) to which he responded "be in court by the 19th of next month, have a nice day" and walks off. I'm so pissed off about it; the guy saw a young white dude in a nice sports car in the ghetto and pulled me over for no reason. He scanned my VIN number on my door panel while he was at it, obviously checking to make sure I didn't steal the damn thing. Don't get me wrong, I respect the cops for doing their jobs but there are just some bad apples in the barrel sometimes.
