Hi guys

I just wanted to say hello, I am a new member and I am just about to buy a S2000 Tomorrow evening. The car is a 2001 year model with red leather. It only has 14,000KM too!

I can't wait to see the car tomorrow...I have a extremely good feeling about it after speaking to the owner (which sounds like a very nice person).

Dude - there are billions of S2000s in Canada for sale right now - they are not selling.

There are so many to choose from; so many buyers who want off their great cars right now that I do not understand why you've got your heart set on one that you have not seen.

Do not believe the hype about the car being so hard to find. Do not believe the hype that they sell for premiums. People are having to sell them for wholesale because there is a buyers strike.

A mint 01 with 14k on it should sell for about C$26k-C$28k. No more.

Take your time to buy smart, because it is very very very difficult to sell an S2000 smart.

 

Also - we know of more than a few S2000s that were written off, fixed up and sold. Most came from Toronto, but once the work was done, they were sent elsewhere for sale. BEWARE.

BioBanker, if you look at Autotrader they sell for alot more than $28,000 (ones with 30,000Km or less). I have been looking pretty hard now for 2 months and its kinda hard to find a silver with red leather.

 

Asking and selling for are two very different things. Where are you located?
