Go to a driving school. You'll find a new appreciation for the S in a hurry

Put a bunch of stickers on it, it'll make you feel like you'd been staple to your seats.

When I get to feeling that way, all I have to do is drive the wife's six cylinder F150 for while and when I get back in the Stook after a few days or a weekend its back to woooohoooo.

Time for some mods!!! I know how you feel though, I drive my S2000 around my area sometimes to get food or go to the mall or places like that and since theres no torque in it and i live in a city, so its not to fun. Luckily I have a Miata as a back up But you can always mod for that push you back in your seat feeling. But if you REALLY dont like the car anymore than maybe its time to look for something new. I dont know!

37K on the car now, Ive done a few autocrosses and I do alot of performance driving on the street (safetly). I sometimes switch cars with my co-worker, who drives an 05 350Z enthusiast. Even though the Z has more grunt, I still love my S2000 better. I recently rode shotgun in a 425hp S/Ced NSX, maybee that makes me feel my S is slow.

No such thing. Performance driving is not for the street nor is it the same.

Seriously, go to a driving school and get a feel for what the car can really do on a track.

Word!

You have no idea of what this car is capable until you have ridden with one of the top AS autocrossers. Steve Wynveen was nice enough to give me one of the most amazing rides I have ever had in an S2000. I thought I was a good fast driver until I really found out what the car was capable of.

You can not experience anything like that on the streets.

I too grew weary of my car as it came (stock). The ride became too harsh on the crappy roads around here, it did feel sluggish without running it pretty hard and it was noisy inside, even with the top up...solution (get your wallet out):

Bilstein PSS9s - Rides so much better now...hardly ever 'crashes' over bumps
4.57 gears - really helps the car pull off the line - BRP Supercharger next
Soundproof the cabin

My car is much easier to live with now and I plan on keeping it another 5 years!
