The best remedy I've seen to "getting used" to your S2k is to park it at home, and rent a car for a week (doing a temporary trade with a friend works too). You'll notice right away the limitations of the new ride, then when you get into the S2k you'll learn to appreciate it again.

Like most things, you get used to them over time. Ask yourself why many supermodels complain that their boyfriends no longer want to make love to them? Because their boyfriends get used to them and they no longer stand out like they did when they first met. It's no different with sports cars, except sports cars don't argue with you
Exactly right. Well stated!

I hadn't had my S2K as a daily driver long before I picked up another everyday beater, so I never really got tired of it... but I can see how you might get a little bored after a long time of daily driving an unmodded car. I know this, after I started daily driving a 98 Jeep Cherokee, every moment in my S2K is so much more fun.

I would seriously suggest you pick up some sort of cheap daily driver, and leave the S for weekends/track events/nice days. You'll love it a lot more.

You will suddenly have a LOT more friends, waiting at your driveway

btw, how are you feeling now?
A bit better?

lol...I feel ya. My S is a dailydriver, 65miles roundtrip to work and back. I'm kinda bored with it TOO. I'm constantly taking stuff apart/moding etc. finding extra screws here and there cuz I forgot where it goes etc....lol.....

I want to MOD it but have NO money!
I want to take it out and drive her HARD but don't want to waste GAS!

Sometimes I just watch it parked in the garage with a beer n' hand...contemplating what to do? what to do?

I want to ride my GSXR..but nobody to ride with......and texas has some shitty weather!!!

Lets Meet and drive 2gether? NO gayshitt okay..
