Glass rear window

The S2000 book mentions that Honda did investigate fitting a glass rear window but ruled it out as they couldn't get it to work work with the roll bars. So it would seem highly unlikely that they would now spend more development money this far into the cars life.

just curious, what book are you referring to?

i have the hard cover "limited edition" book from american honda but i don't recall reading anything about the rear window.

A centrally articulated folding glass rear window would work, regardless of the roll bars. The hinge could be made of either clear vinyl or the same black material as the top. Feedback?

I think glass on glass could pose a problem.
