I get my car back this afternoon. It's been nearly three weeks in the shop now getting the right rear suspension overhauled after my recent "accident avoidance collision". $3400 later, my sweetie will have all paint work corrected, and complete replacement of rear suspension, and drivetrain on the right side. Somehow they managed to salvage my S02 .. which kinda sucks because I was hoping they'd have to scrap it and I would end up with a nice new set of rears, but c'est la vie...

I am just happy to be able to drive my car again tonight. The Lincoln Town car I rented is nice and all, but doesn't feel nearly as nice at 90 MPH. I followed a silver stook on my way in to work today and was deeply jealous of the driver.... can;t wait to back among the living.

That's great! I hope your car is as good as new. Three weeks is a long time without the S2K. It really lets you appreciate what a special car it is. I've been without mine for 4 weeks now and the wait is killing me. The worst part is that I know I have atleast 4 more weeks to wait (probably longer)

That long, F8? I thought you had your VIN and were locked and loaded..?

Let me know as soon as you get the car and are ready for mod. talk. I am very interested to hear your ideas, esp. re: stereo upgrade. I think I'm ready to undertake that project, and I have decided that the spare is gonna go, and a changer, amp, etc. is going in.
