Default What the f@$K!

On my second day of work at my new job, new city, and new state, I decided to take my S2000 to work. On the way to work, I noticed a few cars in traffic that had scuff marks from other cars on the rear bumpers. I thought to myself "It'll be my luck that someone will hit and run my car today." I was a little worried about my baby all day long, and I finally got off work. I have a habit of always checking for door dings along the sides and today I checked the rear in case someone decided to tap me. Well, that's when I notice the rear emblem missing! I was like "You've got to be shi**ing me! Why in the hell would someone steal just the rear H symbol?"

So I checked the sides and the front emblem and they were all there. I also checked if the car was keyed, thank goodness it wasn't. The a**hole did use "something" to pry the symbol off, thus scratching my paint. Lucky for me, it happens to be right where the new symbol will cover it up!

Anyway, just had to vent. I will not ever be driving my car to work again!

Reminds me of the mid 60's when the horse in the middle of the Mustang front emblem was collectable. A lot of mustangs at the time were running around without the horse. It only took a twist and it was gone, Fortunately no paint damage in the process, just one pi$$ed off owner.

I know what it is like to have a car vandalized, my 300 ZXTT was keyed. 5 YO and not a mark on the car. I could have killed whoever did it.

My wax job was so good, the key could not get a "bite" into the paint, so it was a hairline scratch, but it hurt non-the-less.

Why do people have to do that $hit?

Envy, and/or lack of respect for other people's property. Most likely the person that did this either 1) Doesn't have much money and blames that on everyone else (instead of blaming it on the fact that they don't get off their ass and try to better themselves so they can make more money), or 2) Has always had everything handed to them on a silver platter, so they don't realize the grief that this type of action causes to people that have to actually earn their nice things.

That's my suspicion, anyway.

I had my Acura emblems stollen and the guys pryed it with a flat head screwdriver and so they bent the trunk and made some paint chips. On my S2000, I took of all the emblems.

that sucks man...sorry to hear that. When I was in Montreal a few weeks ago I came down from my hotel and found out my rear window in my SUV smashed. Random acts of vandalism are such a piss off. It's like a speeding ticket.

Yeah I agree with mxt_77. People have no respect for what you have, especially when you worked hard for it.

I just wish people would leave other people's cars alone.
