I realize this is not exactly on topic, but I've been trying to find a pair of leather driving gloves similar to a pair I had years ago and I wondered if you guys would know of a good place to look online (I've already conducted searches with very little success) So please forgive the slightly off topic question here- it pertains to driving my S2000 with a nice pair of leather gloves :-)

The gloves I had were a very soft, extra thin, stretch leather with the little knuckle holes on the back. What made these particularly comfortable was that the leather was extremely thin and stretched to fit your hand like a second skin. I'm not sure, but they may have had a little bit of black spandex behind the fingers. The gloves had a metal snap, not a velcro strap. I've had a very difficult time finding stores which have anything even close to these. The closest I've seen were at: http://www.english-channel.com/rf/m67.html

But these still had velcro and no snap. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Someone stole those gloves out of my coat about 10 years ago and I've never found a good replacement yet.

Thanks,
B.

I did a search for "driving gloves" and came up with this thread, which seems to have the information you might be looking for:

Thanks very much- those Jim Clark driving gloves look very similar to the pair I had, with the exception that I recall the snap being on a short leather strap- but these would work quite well.

Thanks all!

I bought a pair of driving gloves at a Coach outlet for about $40. Retail was $80. It sounds similar in style except for the stretch leather.

Try looking at autofanatics.com. I bought some driving gloves from them. They have a variety of different types.

I have a glove I use for racquetball that sounds like it'll fit your needs. http://www.wilsonsports.com/racquetball/in...?content_id=994 It's the Wilson "Conform." The leather is increadibly soft and thin, and it has all sorts of stretchy stuff that makes the fit absolutely perfect. It, er, felt, umm... seductive when I first put it on.
