For me, it was a silver in very early October. It was right next to the Goose Island restaurant on Clyborne. Looked very very sweet!

And I don't mean when you first saw an SSM. I want to know about the production S2000.

Or first s2k sighting ummmm...at the Honda dealer by my office actually. Loved the look...hated the $10,000 mark-up. This was very soon after the intro.

I am still waiting for Santa to come by. I was thinking about beating up the big fatass and stealing all his presents...but that probably won't happen. So I have no idea why I'm up so late...boredom is likely the most accurate answer. heh

Greg, since you're from Chicago, you might have gone to Schaumburg Honda before. Some of the most arrogant fake-ass salesmen around...gotta love'em.

But the first S2K I saw was there. It was black on black with the top up, and they weren't letting ANYONE touch it. It blew me away, and I've dribbled over it since.

My favorite was the first time I sat in one. Same lame ass dealer, but in a Silver/Red. I'm not a big guy, so the seats held me in JUST right, and I loved how everything was in my reach, and the thought of ripping up the road in one. Everything about that car makes me horny to drive it.

I'm going to see if I can buy my own around April sometime...as soon as I do, you'll have to teach me to milk that car for all it's worth.

I saw my first one over in clevland,tn
they had a white/red one, i got to sit in it and it was like sweet bliss, that was in november and i got my car in feb.

 

Well.. she was 42 years younger than me when I first laid eyes on her. She was a gorgeous black beauty with really big..well..you know what I mean

That black beauty was undoubtedly the best ride I've ever had so when I found out she had a sister up North naturally I couldn't wait to try her out

I waited a whole week until her sister arrived. The minute I saw her pull into the driveway I rushed downstairs to discover she was already topless. 'Shameless little hussy' I thought to myself... 'baby, am I going to push your button'

Let me tell you..I pushed her button and she went off like a cracker. I was overcome with waves of rapture as I roared off into the midday sun in my new S2K.

 

The first S2K I saw live and in person was the one leaving the dealership as I was pulling in. It was bright red and someone had just bought her. Fortunately, they had another one sitting in their showroom that I drove out of the dealership a couple of hours later . And to think I only went down there to take one for a test drive.....

 

At Fort Totten in Bayside, New York. I was pulling into the parking lot to do my daily run at the park. When I noticed it sitting in the back of the lot. A beautiful silver/red with the Throgs Neck Bridge and Hudson river in the background. The light bouncing of the car at sunset. It seemed so fast and sleek then, even though it wasn't moving. Waited 1/2 hour but the owner never showed. Funny thing was there was a TT and Z3 (both silver also)on either side. What are the chances? My girlfriend and I went to the dealership the next day and I haven't had any second thoughts since.

 

The first one I saw was cruising in the distance on the highway ahead of me. It was all I could do to catch up to it to get a closer look. It was a silver beauty that I drooled over until the guy decided to go VTEC and haul out of there. The next one was a red beauty sitting in the lot of the leasing company the day I took my first test drive. The following Saturday (Oct. 30, '99) I picked up that same red beauty and have loved her ever since.
