Good for you! Congrats on your purchase. Being the owner of an '00 Silverstone myself, I'm in favor! Sounds like you got a great deal.

dt49396: just curious, how much did you end up paying for that one?

I ended up paying 20,500 for the car. Like I said they were replacing the tires and it is in immaculate condition. I looked at another one (same year modle except black) for the same price, except it had 50k on it and looked ragged, plus it was not from a Honda dealer so it was not certified. So I think I'm getting a pretty good car for the money.

That's a good price. Hey, you have an S2000 and that's all that matters. When people see you on the street, they will never know... unless they are Honda junkies. I bought a used MY00 back in 2002 and people STILL ask me if my car is brand new. So it really doesn't matter. Especially if money is something that you don't have a lot of. I don't think that you could have spent your $20k on a better purchase.

Yeah, that is a smokin deal dt. Good choice to save $3500. The new tires make the deal worthwhile, because they're $600 a set.

I recently bought my MY00 also and everyone thinks it's a new car. Brings a smile to my face
