I used to take my car to school once in a blue moon. I always parked it as far as possible towards where it's empty. Sure enough one day there was a truck parked right next to me even though that was a basketball court sized area where there was no other cars and plenty of parking available closer to the buildings. I look at my door and there was a big fat dent on the driver side door. That was enough for me to never bring my car again. Just goes to show how little respect people have for others property.

 

Best thing to do is not take the S to school. There are just too many people and even covered, it'll draw attention. You'll have to keep the cover locked. When you put on and take off the cover, it draws attention. It is also an inconvenience to take the cover on / off when you drive / park.

Also, your concern about parking probably won't be limited to parking on campus. You'll be concerned about going other places such as bars, malls, strip clubs, where you shouldn't take the S2000.

If you are going to take it, also get a cheap beater and park the S a self storage unit.
