Default Going to dealership to get top fixed!

So last night, I decide to drive to my buddy's house with my top down since it had rained earlier that day, and it was fairly cool outside. So I undo the latches, clip them back up, then I proceed to put the top down; or so I thought. The top went down about 3/4 of the way and then it just stopped, like something was being caught, so I put the top back up. Then I tried again, and at the same spot, a *POP* sound came from the back and so I put the top up to check to see what was wrong... and there it was, ANOTHER "L" shaped hole.

It turns out that the top wasn't folding normally and the folding cloth popped the latch out of the locked position and the other side of the latch (which is sharp) ripped a hole in it... Now, I read the owner's manual and it says to release the latch, then push them back up to the locked position with the hook hanging.

I've done everything correctly~ Honda better replace my top.

I have $20 that says the dealer won't do it, blaming the rip on "operator error".

Good news! I went to the dealer and the service manager took my side, saying that it's happened before and showed me the reason why it did what it did. He called the honda service rep and we got the OK to do it! Gonna take it in Thursday when the parts come in

This happened to mine two years ago. Under warranty they replaced my entire top with that from an 05'.
