Going to the Drag Strip Today
I currently have an intake wiht 4.77 gears on the car. Im hoping to achieve a 13.5 in the qurater mile. When I was stock, I was able to get a 14.2. Im probably going to have a couple runs and was wondering is one of the most important things the 0-60 time. I heard many talk about getting that under 2 sec to achieve a time under 13.9. What is the ideal time slip usually for an s2k which runs 13.5 so I could know what I need to work on when Im out there. I want to be able to tell after the first run if my start is the problem or my shifting
Any inputs would be appreciated.
Thanks

Good reactions will yield sub 2 sec 60 feet time (1,8--1.9)and you should get around 13.2's quarter time.
My stock "S" used to get consistent 13.7's.!!!

Keep this in mind: .1 sec at the 60' = .2 of your 1/4 time. That means if you can improve your 60' by .1 sec, then your 1/4 time will drop by .2 seconds.
Bad reactions at the line, will result in "bogging",or a lost of traction, causing excessive wheelspin, and both will increase your 60 feet time.
Good reactions, controlling the power delivery, will get you 1.8--1.9, 60 feet times.
