Doesn't seem like you're too crazy about the color honestly. And I wouldn't be either...I'm just not a fan of yellow cars. I would wait for a MY06 in the color you want. Trust me.

I hear ya, I wasn't thrilled by the yellow, but seeing it in person it grew on me quite a bit. Also, it was one of the "deepest" paint jobs I've seen. Like 1/4 inch of clear over the yellow. Number one choice color-wise is the Laguna Blue Pearl for me, probably a pretty tough find.

Congrats at looking at the S! I hope you find what you are looking for. I really wanted a GPW with the Red interior. That meant going with an AP1 MY 03 or going with an AP2 MY 06. At the time I couldn't afford (and even today still wouldn't want to lay out that kinda of cash) on the 06 and wasn't thrilled about the idea of an MY 03 (18 months ago).

I decided that I had to have the red interior and would target MY 05. I was turned down based on my offer for the first 4 S2Ks I looked at and had numbers 5 and 6 sell the day before and as I drove on to the lot respectively.

I finally found a car on Autotrader that had been posted less than 30 minutes before I found it. I ended up being the only person to look at it and 4 days later it was mine. In the end I got the interior color I wanted, for $300 more than I wanted to spend but with only 18k miles rather than the 35k I had been looking at.

All I am trying to say is that if you are patient you will find the right S....just don't be afraid to pull the trigger. Good hunting!

Agreed. Sport cars shouldn't be bought wrecked if you're putting a good amount of money.

I think most people want LBP It is a beautiful color, but like you said it isn't an easy find. HOWEVER, like I said, wait until you find the one you truly want. There are plenty of fish in the sea.

If you don't mind disclosing it, how much are they asking?

I don't know that I would classify a car that has been in a little fender bender as being wrecked. I would find out more about it, and if it doesn't seem like anything major, I wouldn't let it ruin an otherwise good car for me.

I mean, what if somebody bumped it in a parking lot...and the dent was removed, paint fixed, it looks good, never reported, etc... That just tells you that you're dealing with an owner who obviously cared and maintained his car.

As for the color. I think Yellow is a real love it or hate it color. It's hard to be neutral on it. I personally love yellow sporty cars. But, if you don't love it, I'd hold out...you'll likely find another really good example within a few weeks.
