Quick sale?

14-15K

Long sale (1-4 months)

15-16K

Its and AP1, and an aging car. Not many people will buy it over an AP2 which can be starting at 17K...

Plus Suzuka blue hurts the value, its a niche color.

I paid 19k for my mint 2002 with only 11k miles in NE Ohio a few months ago. Worth it to me.

The color hurts and helps you at the same time. If you can keep it on the market for a few months, someone really looking for the color will offer more than KBB for it. If you need to sell it fast, there are a lot of people who will low-ball you because it's not the color they really want.

I'd say $17k is fair. You're selling a vehicle without some of the major upgrades (glass window, ect) and in general even early AP2's are sliding in value. I'd hold onto it for a while... if you don't drive it much, this is about as low as it'll get for a while.

FYI: 02's have the glass rear window. Suzuka Blue makes the car less valuable? I bought mine when the color came out. I love it, and have always gotten complements on the color. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am only going to sell it because the move is causing all kinds of problems(NH to AZ). I might end up spending some time in between in IL. The less stuff I have: The easier it is to move. If I can work all the details out: I will bring it with me. That is my preferred option.
