If he's willing to let you have it checked out at the dealer, I say go for it if all else is inline. I cant blame him for not wanting to turn what is still his car over to "Joe Blow" the unknown mechanic.

that diesel like noise you are hearing may be the timing chain tensioner going bad, dont be worried its an easy fix if thats what it is. does it sound like a card in the bicycle spokes? if so most likely the tct

hmmm timing tensioner...I suppose I'll take it to a dealership to check it out this week since the warranty is still active. Thanks for the advice
