Default goodbye all... from one of the old timers

I have made the very hard decision to sell my S2000. As many of you know we are expecting our first baby within 4 weeks and the amount of time I have spent actually driving the S2000 this past year along with my upcoming time being occupied with our new baby the time has come for the car to go.

But don't fret I will have another toy in the future for I am a car guy. This will be the first time in 11 years I have not had one kind or another garage queen so the adjustment will be difficult but parenthood should erase any and all of that.

So when my boy gets a little older and can appreciate cars I will pick up another car something to share my passion and hopefully he will have the same passion for autos as I do.

Take care God Bless

You couldn't have waited the 11 days until the anniversary of your 4th year!?

Good luck to you.

It's a bummer you have to let go of your S due to a new arrival in the family, but you got to do what you got to do right.
I did the exact opposite, I got my S right before my second child was born. Kids do take up a lot of time but when you need to get away from it all, the S is your best friend.

I had a BMW 325i convertible when my first was born. The noise and cold made her cry, it was a hassle to move stuff, it sat in the garage. So I sold it. It was fun while I had it but not worth keeping to collect dust.

Fast forward 12 years and I get the Miata. One more year forward to last week and I have the S2000. All is right in the world once again

My now teenaged daughter loves it, my younger son wants it, but it's mine.

Good luck with your new family and know that you will someday be back in a ragtop

Mark

Goodbye....goodbye?!!! WTF!!! You couldn't just get a beater SUV for the upcoming kid?

That's it....no more Chicago-style pizza for you!!!

BTW, I'm still waiting on a bet with you that I know I can win to get some of the sweet goodness that you were offering.
