Default Goodbye Laguna

So, it has unfortunately come to the point where my family is adamant about trading in my car. Sadly, it has only been half a year of ownership but I do love my baby. Ever since I bought the car, my parents have been pestering me about trading for something more practical, something with more seats, something with more luxuries, and something AUTOMATIC. There has been an occasion before of me almost trading it but thankfully it fell through, but now they finally found the "perfect" car for me.

I was told about an MY07 335i coupe with extremely low miles that is CPOed. Apparently all the stars aligned on this one and its just too good of a deal to pass up. So I have to say, Goodbye Laguna and Goodbye S2ki, but i'll be back soon.

Don't worry, the 335i is sexy in its own right and for less than 1k, you can gain 100whp.

And the auto is faster than the manual for the 335i. Just get your high pressure fuel pumps checked, they go out all the time! A week after my uncle got his, the HPFP went out hahaha.

@Disgustipated
Yeah, its a good thing that CPO-ed extends the warranty and the HPFP is covered to 150k miles. I do like the 335i but i LOVE the S LOL. Maybe i'm just biased because it was my first car .

@Jumpman2k
I can't ignore them, it is my whole family against the S and I, it's only the occasional "sigh it is a nice car, but trade it anyways" kind of love. I wish I had the financial ability to support the S and a DD but I am an unemployed full time college student. Money doesn't come to me, it goes to tuition.

That sucks, but since it appears you didn't pay for the car, I guess you have to listen to them.

Driving a nice 3 series coupe and parking at school doesn't sound like a good idea though. college parking lots are a door ding city.

I was just going to ask who pays for the car...but it seems obvious. Not you, otherwise you'd be driving anything you please.

Sucks to have to give it up, but it's not like the BMW is a crappy car

Yeah I only pay for insurance, the car was a gift from my parents.

Then instead of whining about it, why don't you go thank them for their generosity.

Hope you come back to an S2000 soon

I can understand your family's concern. The BMW will keep you safe, the S will make you a safer and better driver.

Not sure how old you are but its probably best for you at this point to get into the BMW.

Good luck and keep stopping by
