Anyone else have a fender bender before in their stook? I feel horrible. Damn BMW stopped quickly in front of me and I didn't have enough braking room. How much do you guys think a new front bumper/inner fender and a hood will cost? This is a tragedy ...... I feel worse than when I got my GS-R stolen.

 

Post a pic so we can see how bad it is. 2 things : 1. You're ok, thank God. 2. Its a car, it can be fixed.

I read somewhere that you have a 1 in a 1000 chance of being in any kind of an auto accident. You're lucky if you can walk away from it.

Since you're car is Red its an easier match than say a pearl finish or metallic flake. Replacing the hood with a Carbon Fiber is an option. Get it painted and you can't tell. They have more give to them so you won't have to worry about future dings.

Otherwise parts run:

Hood : About $300
Fenders : about $240
Front bumper : $220
Grill: $25

If its just damage to the outer skin this isn't a big deal to fix and paint (I could do it in my garage).

 

You're right, I am glad I wasn't hurt. Just the sight of my s2k depresses me now though, I'll post some pics tonight.

 

Would carbon fiber hood be more expensive or cheaper?

 

Get Veilside front bumper... carbon fiber induction hood and BMW Z3 fenders w/z3 grills............... okay maybe i was joking about the Z3 fenders but hey the front fascia and hood would look nice, lol
