Looking at those pictures is painful! Glad you're okay and from here it looks like the damage wasn't extensive enough to cause alignment problems or other horrors. Good luck with this--if you can afford to buy the aftermarket stuff like the carbon-fiber hood, you would at least be making the most of a bad situation.

Mine had similar damage to Psicho54's S2K when I was rear-ended and the front was pushed under the tail of a pickup truck. Cost $3850 to get it back in shape with a new front bumper and hood. My guess is that a new side panel will probably boost the cost to about $4500. I know that doesn't sound very in line with lucid's quotes for parts, but labor charges are always pretty horrific.
Sorry to hear about your accident. The damage doesn't look that bad, but I'm sure it's going to cost a lot to fix. Where is Emeryville??? Is that up in Northern Cal somewhere??? There's a good body shop dwon here in So Cal, but's it's probably too far away.
