Default Got a Flat on S2K

I was just wondering. If got a flat tire while driving your S2K somewhere on a highway with another passenger, let just say your girlfriend. You change to your spare tire with the "donut" that you have. Then how to do you carry the flatted tire to the shop on your S2K?

I mean, I don't think a full size tire and rim would fit in the trunk. Have any of you ever been into this situation? What did you end up doing?

Thanks.

Read the manual. When you remove the tools and foam from the well a full size tire/wheel fits and the trunk can close.

Also, donut on the front ONLY. If you get a flat in the rear make sure you put a good front tire on the rear and a donut on the front.

you put it vertically to the trunk.

or kick your gf out and put your volk rims on the passenger side.

No, I don't want to do that. I don't want to be sleeping next to my VOLK Racing rim at night.

good choice. rims are nice, but the female has got a few things that put having her around a little better than havind sweet rims around. Lol, the big hole in the trunk is for the tire when it blows though. Take it easy.

I always see people post this, but how are you going to manage that on the side of the highway?

1. Use scissor jack to jack up rear corner
2. Remove tire, put on spare tire
3. Lower jack.
4. Take scissor jack and jack up the front corner.
5. Remove good tire and put on flat rear tire.
6. Lower jack.
7. Raise rear corner again and replace spare tire with good front tire.
8. Lower jack.
9. Raise front corner again and replace flat rear tire with the spare.

That would take forever. I assume people just swap it out at home once they get safely home? I put a spare on my rear and drove fine. I was just careful, and it lasted a few days to/from work until my replacements came.

I'd prefer:

1. Jack up front
2. Replace good front tire with spare
3. Lower jack
4. Jack up rear
5. Replace flat tire with good front tire
6. Lower jack

x2. It really won't take more than 10 minutes start to finish.
