While it may not matter too much...if you are going to go get it fixed right away...If you have directional tires, you'll want to use the tire that is on the same side as the flat.

I always see people post this,
That's because it is what Honda says to do, and they say to do it the way they do because putting the donut on the back of the car is dangerous, and can damage the differential. Putting the donut on the back of the car constitutes abuse and Honda will not warrenty damages caused by abuse.

It's your car, so treat it any way you like, but don't blame the car when it has problems because it was abused.

1. Use scissor jack to jack up rear corner
2. Remove tire, put on spare tire
3. Lower jack.
4. Take scissor jack and jack up the front corner.
5. Remove good tire and put on flat rear tire.
6. Lower jack.
7. Raise rear corner again and replace spare tire with good front tire.
8. Lower jack.

I don't know about you, but I can jack a single point and get both wheels off the ground to change wheels.

If you do that, it only takes a few more minutes to do it right.

Ditto. Too many people get hurt or even killed changing a tire by the side of the road. I live in an urban area and a free tow (covered by my car insurance) is a 30 minute wait at most.

If you take your tool tray out you can put the tire in verticle.

i said this before in another thread like this

for all of you folks with aftermarket wheels ..

DO NOT FORGET to keep 5 stock lugs in your car so you can mount the donut if need be ..

aftermarket lugs + oem wheels = lose

i keep 5 in the trunk in a bag since im using Rays lugs on my LE's

I would just purchase a new fron wheel with rim and stash it in my trunk. I wish it could fit where the spare tire is but i guess not.
