Default Got my car back from accident, also cleared lights (pics)

Well after 2 agonizing weeks, I finally got her back. She looks great. Not only did the shop do a wonderful job, but I got the chance to clear the headlights while it was sitting in the shop. And all I can say is wow, they look fantastic. Here are a few pics minus the front lip spoiler that I am still waiting for them to finish.

Nice job! I think the cleared lights look perfect on the silver. Glad you're back on the road again.

BTW Code3Smith. I'm steering clear of Santa Barbara from now on. Last week I cracked my front spoiler on one of those dips in the road (for rain runoff). $358 for a new one!

1Y2kS2K, I know what you mean. My front spoiler was cracked also just the same way. By the way, are you the s2k owner that I hear them speak of that visits SPW on occasion? They always mention a white s2k that got some stereo work done there. I would love to see your ride sometime when I visit down there. I go to SPW and Neuspeed alot Let me know.

Did you remove the plastic lens the old fashioned way (i.e. melting the housing apart, removing the lens, and then sealing it back up) ??

I also have a gray baby and it looks beautiful without the yellow cancer spots...

Regards,
Rick

Yes I did it the old fashioned way. What a pain in the @$$. But like those that have come before me, I agree that the outcome is well worth it, especially on a silver car. The car just looks so much sleeker now.

How can you get those clear blinker lights without having to get in a wreck. I think they look sweet!

2 weeks is a pretty good turn around time for getting your S2K back. I know of many other people on the board that had to wait months.

Glad you have the car back. The clear corners look good, especially on silver.
