While I certainly agree that it's acceptable and correct to "consider the source" in this sort of situation, I also wonder how hypocritical that comment may be. I've seen a lot of people on this board claim that Porsche or Ferrari owners are snobby, and for the sake of consistency, aren't they completely justified in looking at us and saying "consider the source"?

While most people don't enjoy that elitist attitude, I think that the elitists are justified in their position. The comment of "consider the source" in this case is just elitism on a lesser scale (since it's less $). Again, I have no problem with elitism, I was pointing out that if you think that's the correct way to look at it, then you can be considered snobby as well.

don't even listen to what anybody says. i hear sh*t all the time when i am crusing around in seaside by the board walk. they see that i am young (i am 19) and they say stuff like "bring daddy's car home fag" or "Daddy let you take the car out". it stupid. i just look, laugh and know the fact that they are jealous and wish they can drive a s2000 and presh the engine start button

"yeah, whatever" comes to mind.

VW owners are annoying, the further away they get the better. Especially the stinky ones.

Chaz, I definitely think that if Jenner did say something snobby to him, he would be fully justified in doing so. Personally, if I was just minding my own business and someone came along looking for trouble, I probably would have responded with "You've got a nice car yourself," and let him choke on the sarcasm. Nothing better than putting an a$$hole in his place.

nbd Jenner

odds are that out of the hundreds if not thousands of compliments you've received thus far (as all of receive ) you're bound to get one negative comment.

just smile a little bigger next time someone says "nice car or sharp looking car"
