WOW, I was deciding on a CL-Type S when I was looking at my S. Glad I sure did because this car is silly fun every time I drive it. Now if only the weather up here can be a little more cooperative.

Same here, the CL Type-S (with Comptech springs) was my other choice but I went with the S even after the dealer let me have the CL the whole day while I went shopping for the S2000. Congratulations on your new car Hi speedr.

I have a '01 CL-S. I love it. Put the CT Sways on it and have fun.
But it is still a 4-seater. I need it for Colorado Winter, too.
The S2K is pure roadster fun that a CL can't duplicate. But the CL is really fun too and I'm not selling it.
Hoping to add a '04 S2K to the stable to complement the CL-S.
Even with all the windows down and the moonroof open, I just can't replicate the feeling of riding in a convertible.
So I guess it is time to get a convertible, right? And why not get the best IMO? Right again?

Hi Speedr,

Welcome to the group. Like us, the car gets better with age. Everyone has already cautioned you about the oil-eater, so how about I chime in and suggest you get yourself a good set of wash and detailing gear. Zaino or Pinnacle would work great on that white beauty. Clay bar, polish and wax and you'll be the envy of Fla. Don't forget to only use microfiber or 100% cotton USA MADE towels. These folks have a nice selection... www.properautocare.com .

Thanks, Ohio, but I'm already way ahead of you. I have a metal cabinet full of great stuff to keep the baby clean and healthy.

Congratulations. Motoring will never be the same again. Check the oil often (in case it hasn't already been mentioned).

Thanks jjvillarino, is that because of break in or does it tend to use oil in general? Since the "break-in" oil is mostly sythetic anyway, I will continue to use a synthetic at the first change...probably Mobil 1.
