jeez man that doesn't sound good. my girlfriend just got in a car accident a couple months ago and tore her meniscus. had to get surgery and everything. OP I would go to the doctor and get checked out just to be sure your alright whether you use that claim or not.

I don't see any frame damage, doubt the subframe got pushed in at all. And the quarter panel, part of the "unibody" or "frame" looks untouched?

What am I missing? New trunk, rear bumper panel, some of the supporting cosmetic panels and you're good to go?

You guys are seriously saying you wouldn't want this car back?

Seriously?

I don't see it as totaled. But hope it goes the way you want. Glad you weren't seriously hurt!

My first S2000 (2001) was in a similar wreck, though my damage was more extensive. If I recall correctly the total to fix it all (bumper, trunk, supports, mufflers, and repaint) was somewhere in the neighborhood of $5500.

Sorry to hear about your car and yes go get some x-rays just to have it documented. You do not have any frame damage just panel damage you really got to get hit hard to have frame damage. But with your 2000 year and miles it's going to be close on a total. But I think they will still fix it unless you get some high estimates Let me know if I can help you out

I doubt you're hurt since it doesn't seem too bad. Frightening more than anything. Go see a doc if you feel any pain though. Like others said, pain might not come for a few days.

I feel fine. It wasn't like I got hit doing 60 mph.
