It doesn't look like it would be totaled out.. But who knows.. My sister got in to an accident with her Jeep Liberty and the damage looked minor but they totaled it.

I've got a couple estimates from 4800-5600 but both places said it may be much more damage once they get it tore down. Still waiting on a call back from the adjusters.

I'm pretty sad about it. The van rear ended me and pushed in the bumper, trunk, lights, unibody. Do you think they will try to fix it or total it?

I doubt it will be totalled-unlike this S2000:

You can probably just buff that out.

There's no way that is going to be a total loss. My car, a 2001, was rear-ended worse than that and they fixed it without even a doubt of totaling it out. The body shop I took it to did an amazing job fixing it correctly and I couldn't be happier; the rear end is literally spot on, nobody can even tell its been repaired even after mentioning it, and it drives just as nice as it did before the accident. Good-luck.

Thanks for that info. I'm currently at a national tour racing another S2000 but I'm going to deal with this more on Monday.

My big worry if they try to repair it is the paint not matching and the car will me no longer "clean" on the car fax. I shouldn't be punished for someone else's mistake.

Berlina Black isn't a hard color to match. If it were Sebring or Silverstone, I could see your point. But paint match shouldn't be an issue for any shop that is even relatively good at painting. Hopefully you get taken care of either way.
