Default Got rear ended in my S2000

Other than being stiff and sore (braced for the impact), her insurance co. only found $947.05 in damage... she hit me from at least 30-50 mph!!

I was stopped in traffic and watched her she came speeding over a hill and never appeared to hit her brakes.(no skid marks)

they did not even notate the need for new tips on the exhaust pipe. They also quoted "refurbished oem parts".

That sucks! Sorry about that. I'd try and get more out of the insurance company.

Red_s2k, since it's her fault, your insurance company has the final say in what the damage is and what the bill will be. Make sure you have one of your insurance company's adjusters look at it. Point out any damage they might have missed and they almost always will make note of it.

the insurance company is Travellers... I am def. going to get 2nd quotes on the car. seems like my Lien holder may have a vested interest in this as well... since it could potentialy lower the value of the car.

I had the same thing happen just a few weeks ago. But it was State Farm. They've been pretty cool about it...but fight for diminished value!

We just went through this - get an attorney to handle the insurance stuff - they hate attorneys! Don't give any more statements to the insurance companies, they record every conversation with you, have them talk to your attorney! See a doctor regarding your injuries!
My girlfriend felt fine after she was hit, she spoke to the insurance company then the following day she was very sore and went to the doctor and had tissue damage and is still sore to this day - this was two months ago. I am not advocating false information just protect yourself because your injuries might not reveal themselves right away!
I agree with xtcs2k, your car won't be worth as much having been in an accident and your losses can be recouped with the help of an attorney!
Good Luck!
