Default got SNOWN3D!

we got ~12in of snow overnight.. didnt go to work, and the snow crew hadn't stopped by. decided to 'test the limits' of my Kumho ASX tires on fresh powder snow.

both cars got stuck about 10ft out of the garage, had to ask 3 neighbors to push both cars back in.. lol

both the S and 540 sucked A$$ in snow..

thing is, even w/ WS50 snow tires, i'm not sure how much better they'd be in 12+in of snow, the S was literally a snowplow truck! (i have the front spoiler..)

The 5 should be great with a solid set of snows! My 330 did very well on a set of Pilot Alpins in Rochester.

12 inches of snow on the road is a lot of snow for any vehicle to get good traction in.

Glad you had some fun though

NO passenger vehicle is going to manage 12 inches of unpplowed snow. That would even tax some SUV's. A car as low and light as this is going to ride up on frame and get stuck with no traction regradless of the quality of the tires.

Gotta love southern california! Never snows, only rains about a couple of weeks (if that) and is sunny all the other days. (including today)
