Our cars get a lot of attention. I was stuck in heavy traffic (40 miles of stop and go) Saturday morning going south towards Kings Dominion from work. This lady got out of the car smiling to get her back pack out. Then all of the sudden I see a light in the back of their car. The kids in the back were video taping my S2000.
Monday I parked just for 3 minutes with the top down just to drop something off to one of my friends at their job. I walked back out to the car and there were two ladies walking around my car. One of the ladies said she has a convertible Camaro and was looking into getting something smaller. She looked at the Miata but she wants a S2000. We talked for a while about the car and I let her get inside. This woman was a huge flirt. Lets just say I kept in touch even though I feel a little guilty since I've been dating my girlfriend for 3 years. I love this car

 

See that just goes to show... This car is soooo cool she didn't even notice your hair.

 

This car can make anyone cool, even if we don't have a sweet 'do like S2K4ever

 

A few months ago i pulled into a Target parking lot, rounded a turn only to be the unsuspecting victim of a photo op involving this guys two daughters, them in the foreground and my car kinda in between in the background. I don't think is was my striking good looks , LOL.

 

I can just imagine the looks I would get if I still had that hairstyle with the S2000's top down. People would run off the road looking. It used to be over a foot tall and touched the roof inside of the car I used to drive to high school.

 

Had two kids from Iran that were visiting LA pull up next to me with a camcorder. They were begging me to make some noise. They nearly flipped their Civic trying to keep up with me through some switchbacks that included a redline shift into 4th through a long tunnel.

Is that not one of life's greatest rewards? 9000 RPM VTEC wail while driving through a tunnel - I thought I outgrew that PUNK stage. Heck no!

 

I had something similar happen to me also. I was stopped ata light and had two kids in a car just staring at the car. Then one of them whips out a video camera and starts recording the car. I just gave them a wave.

 

I had the NSX parked next to a white S2000 and a black S2000 yesterday at an autocross. An older couple comes by and they decide to take a picture of the wife next to the S2000 instead of the NSX!

 

That doesn't surprise me. You see a lot of NSX's around, but not too many S2Ks.
