Soft top condition?
Odd to me that it has the exhaust mod but stock air box.
I bet that there is a story behind that car. Very odd that a dealer has it at that price.
Do your due diligence.

Guys I have driven this car in person. I almost bought it for 16k from the seller he was in a pinch.
Pics are decieving. It has cracked paint over each rear fender. Driver seat bolster is trashed and there are rock chips all over car. There is no soft top. Seller had removed it and his wife forgot it when they moved. Car drove decent but pulled slightly to right on acceleration. Exhaust drones badly. They’re is an issue on the dashboard hard to explain but a big indentation.
im anal I know and I almost bought the car just to flip. I know he probably took 14-15k from the dealer FYI. I have more pics on my phone if anyone cares for them.
thanksGL Casey

lol, that's why I like to mention "if as presented". That's how I put things to the seller of the car now sitting out in the garage before getting a chance to inspect the car in person — as in "I'll buy the car if the car is as presented in the photos".
Fortunately for others, you've now seen this one in person and provided a much better description for all interested. "Unicorn" also has to do with condition amongst other things and it seems like this one is just not quite all that. Bummer.

That's why I'd never buy a car unseen. I even drove two hours to inspect a car that I ended up buying on eBay Motors years ago. I'd trust a PPI done by a qualified mechanic but man, I really have to see the whole car to make sure I can live with any imperfections and get an idea of how much it will take to bring it up to scratch.

Ad calls it "collector quality." Wrong wheels and no convertible roof kills that. The hard top has sale value, especially as claimed to be OE, and could offset some of the expense in correcting the car. The horrible Invidia "upgraded" exhaust will come off in 20 minutes with hand tools but still a hassle. I'm guessing there's no cat. Paint cracks = pulled fenders? Another strike against collectiblity.
But why bother? There are still plenty of white S2000s available in better condition.
The LHT airbox mod will look OE but no mention of it in the ad.
Horses are better than unicorns anyway. That darn horn in the middle of their head makes them a PITA to ride and falling off at altitude will mess up your day. Pretty to look at though.

Definitely not a collector but still sounds like a potential deal for someone who wants a driver's 06 GPW+ car and hardtop.

Personally went and looked at and drove this car. It is trashed. Needs new light lenses all around, gash in fender, ridiculously obnoxious exhaust, missing soft top mech entirely. I guess it depends what you're looking for but I would never spend that money on this car. Hard top rattles like a MF too- which im sure is easy fix but for 21k, thing better be awesome and ready to go IMO.
