my best so far is 317.6 miles on 10.67 gallons (based on the next fill-up), which comes out to 29.77 mpg. it was on a road trip with mostly highway miles though, and i was for the most part driving in a very relaxed manner.

I used 89 octane because gas in Vegas is VERY expensive ($2.29 for regular is what I saw) compared to Phx.
$2.29...that's it? I pay $2.55 / gallon (premium) in LA and that's not too bad.

Yikes! Today, I paid $2.29 and thought it was extremely high!

Those octane boosters won't even get that 89 octane up to 90 octane. When those bottles say 3-5 points, it means .3-.5 points so beating on your car with 89.5 is not a good thing.

btw, the price difference between premium and regular is what, 20-25 cents a gallon or something? for a tankful of gas, that works out to be a difference of approx $2.00 - $2.75, depending on how many gallons you fill up (i'm assuming 10-11 gallons). i don't know what you paid for the octane booster but i doubt you were really saving much in the end

Riding around in 5th and 6th gear SUCKS!! If you never go above 4th, you will get 150 miles on a tank. Don't ask me where I got that info.

6.6 liters per 100 km = 35.6385734 miles per gallon! : What kind of highways do you have in Finland?

ps - I thought Roenick was a US hockey player?
