Great, my car won't start

Your S2000 doesn't have a distributor. I'd probably clean the battery contacts and drive it until it acts up again.

is it blinking a green key at you? if it is an immobilizer unit. my car had the same problem at 61k. kinda sucks since you will have to call honda.

I would still go and get your battery checked at an automotive store. The last thing you need is finding out that you need to replace it after it doesn't start again.

did they charge you to fix the immobilizer? having the same problem. the green key light is blinking and blinking and the car wouldn't start.

I would remember you can push the car till about 5mph, with the key in and on, pop the clutch into 1st and the motor will jump to life

A dead battery will never strand you in a stick.

do you have a Honda alarm box under your seat? I unplugged mine and my car started right up. Mine had problems with grounding and would do the immobilizer thing and let me crank and crank but, no fuel ever got to the motor.

to rob-2,

if the immobilizer is faulty you can't do what you said. since the immobilizer turns off the fuel pump.

i don't think i have the honda alarm box.

replaced battery so i can eliminate that.

i heard there is some brake code you can do to get the car started so you can drive to honda. I'm going to ask them that before i tow it to them.

do you know if they charge it?

is there REALLY a brake code, backdoor sequence designed into cars? I HIGHLY doubt it.
