well by being a JDM fan, sometimes absorbing some oriental idea is a wise choice. sometimes i think there are something that a westerner cannot understand fully due to the culture difference, and some of those things was pour through an asian's everyday life. there are similarities btween china and japan in a way called "和" which roughly stands for harmony. to be harmonous, one got to be relatent to all kinds of people, all kinds of ideas. that's a part of mystery of JDM. why they are so attractive? only because they are of good performance? or sexy looking? both yes, but not totally. i think the answer is 和, which comes through every single fiber and nerve of the car, deep into spirit.

of course that's only oppinion from an ignorant chinese...whether you like it or not.....just be 和 XDDDDD

^ This. There's a lot of nuance to all this. Tunnel vision exists on every topic on every discussion forum out there. This thread isn't going to fix all that. People will always have differing opinions and stifling opinions isn't the way to deal with it. That said, there are those that are attacking in the presentation of their opinions and there are those that think that anyone disagreeing with them is "hating". There's really no quick and easy fix for this.
