I found that I can fit a carry-on sized suitcase, a 6-pack cooler, and a few extras in the trunk...plus the boot! The secret is to roll up the boot very tightly...it is quite small when done correctly.

No complaints at all. The ones that were bothering me, I fixed, like:

1) Wimpy horn is now replaced by FIAMM airhorns
2) door lock has been rigged by my alarm installer to unlock whether the engine is running or not. No leaning over for me.

Now that's what I call adapting and overcoming! Have you noticed that this car challenges us in all sorts of ways. As you spoke and with it's performance. You have to learn how to drive it correctly and it rewards you with optimal power and handling. It's so much fun that I could own two!! I need two because I don't ever get to drive mine anymore. My wife even hides my keys. That reminds me, people who have two S2000's and won't share. Hey, maybe that's a better idea instead of getting the Viper...............................hmmmm--------------------------------->NOT!

I think this modification needs to be documented and put in the FAQ.

Thanks Lane, I'll try that. I have afraid to roll it to tightly for fear of damaging the boot. Does it flatten out ok when you get ready to use it?

I can't find a good place to mount my gun rack.

I have not had any problem, and it's been left tightly rolled up for over a week at a time. Still flattens out and attaches just like when new. Your mileage may vary

Hayjim,

If you are short, you can fit a gun rack behind the seats (ie, spanning both passenger and driver sides). I'd recommend mounting as low as possible and only put in a one or two gun, locking, version so they're not easy to see and/or steal. <insert laughter>
