Greatest S2000 peeve.
1. Fuel tank capacity = lack of range. Trips actually take longer in
the S2K than in other cars because I have to gas up so often.
2. Nowhere to put a suit jacket or dry cleaning on hangers without crumpling it up. That aside, I found I could deal with the limited storage by taking a fairly disciplined approach to keeping the car clear of miscelaneous junk. Transfering CDs from jewel boxes to a CD wallet helped a lot. Ditch the top boot. There's a fair amount of room under the seats for stuff that you don't need to get to wjile you're actually driving.
3. Stock stereo is pretty worthless w/ the top down.
4. A gentleman should get out, go around the car and open the door for the lady so the passenger door lock isn't a huge big deal. It does cause difficulties when one the doorman or valet parker is there to open the door.
Other than these, I don't have any beefs. I've owned mine since January and put 17K miles on it so far.

JRM,
That was a damn good reply...i agree with you!!!!
Why doesn't everyone enjoy what they have and like about the car?
I love mine even if there is a couple little problems...but i'm not complaining. All my friends and people around my age drive beat up civics and integras!
I'm happy with my s2k

Hmmm... I don't understand the depreciation thing much. I bought my first S2000 for 31k with 3000 miles on it. After I wrecked that, I bought another S2000 with 7k miles on it for 29k. My insurance company paid me 33 and change for the first car after I wrecked it, so that covered what I owed to the bank and then some for a down payment on my 2nd. It was a hell of a way to get a deal, but my first car was "worth" more than I paid for it
It had 7k miles on it when I wrecked it. So if you look at what the insurance company paid me vs. what I paid for an identical car with the same mileage at the time of purchase vs. wreck. I paid much less than what the car was worth. The prices you paid were insane!!
