Default which grill

Hello everybody!

I was about to order a grill for my Spa Yellow. I know black would be the safe choice but was wondering if anyone had a silver grill on their Spa Yellow.

Either way, which one should I get?

The stainless steel grill actually looks black from a distance. I painted my radiator supports and everything behind the grill black and it really adds that extra touch.

This is not a great pic of my grill but it is recent (L.S. trip) and was easily found. It shows that the stainless steel grill looks black from a distance.

I had a black grill on my car originally, but I took it off and ordered a bigger mesh from Costal metals so that I could mount it from behind. I forgot to tell them which color I wanted, and they sent me the stainless steel grill... At first I was kind of disappointed because I was scared to put the stainless steel on, but I went ahead and used the stainless steel one and I am very happy with the new look.

In the end it is your choice, but don't be quite so scared of the stainless steel one... it looks good in my opinion.

I am very satisfied with my stainless steel grills. I am going to swap with a local owner next time we meet. He has the black ones.

Here is a pic, hopefully this will help you make your decision.

Definitely the black. Just look at the pictures above. The stainless one looks best from a distance (i.e. when it looks black!). The contrast is great.

You can do a search to find more by using the "search" engine here on the board. . .there are lots and lots of pictures out there!

Here are some of mine. . .I love the grill, in any color. . .but the stainless gives me the look I like!

I have a '02 Spa and I went with the Black grill because I want the front to look uniform in color, and didn't want to purchase the fake air vents (side grills). Airgate and OawkLawn's looks very nice, because they matches. I'm not sure how it would look if they didn't have the faux side vents though.
