I had the Tsb done but that doesn't include the TO bearing. I still get a grind every now and then but I didn't change any of the fluids so that may have something to do with it.
If your grind disappeared after changing the fluid wouldn't that mean that the source of the problem was not the synchros?

Guys sorry to cut in but after reading the stuff..... i'd like to ask if the "grinding" is from the transmission or is it a clutch prob??? I heard that the noise was an inherent design prob of the earlier MY S2000s.
My car (a 2001 S) has tis grinding (2000-3000rpm) when using engine braking..... pls advice thanx.....
