Well it isn't really a Group Buy...

I have 1 S-02 Pole position 225/50R16 with about 150 miles on it.

The reason why I only have 1 tire is my car was rear-end quite a while ago, and the lady broke one of my rims. So I got a new rim and tire. And the body shop put a PP on the left side and left the non-pp on the right.

So anyway when I figured it out, I just bought a set of 245/45's for my rear and had planned on putting the 225's on the front. But after speaking to people here, I decided against it. Besides, I think I am getting new rims soon.

So there it is.... 1 225/50R16 S-02 pp.

I live in SF Bay area, but I am willing to ship it. name your price.

Hey there! I noticed that you indicated that you put 45's on the rear. Are those S02's? I don't recall that they came in that size. I also noticed that the diameter of the 45's are a bit smaller than the stock 50's. Have you noticed any difference? Errors in the Speedo?

After the track day next week, I'll need new tires in the rear and I was thinking about 45's on the stock rim since they will fit. However; I was wondering if there is a downside.

yup the diameter is smaller, slighty, I have noticed a small difference. I can only do ~41 in 1st now.

And the are the PP tires. (yup. pp's on rear, non-pp's on front)

Also, in most cars, the speedo is calculated on the non-drive wheels, so that if you are spinning the tires, you still get an accurate reading of speed.

my fronts are stock, and my speedo seems to be accurate.

On the S2000 the speed sensor is inside the gearbox. Your speedo will be off.

Actually most (all that I am aware of) drive the speedo from the transmission.

Fireslayer:

I'm going to Thunderhill in Willows, CA. You can find out all about the track as www.thunderhill.com

It's about an hour north of Sacramento California.

If the speedo was not hooked up to the drive wheels I would have never gotten 75mph out of my '82 diesel Rabbit!

Anyone want the tire?

Those who are replacing the rears can get one of them for a good price.
